How to report a problem
The online reporting system is currently only in Dutch, but the procedure is straightforward.
Determine if it is an urgent issue or outdoor problem
Provide the exact location of the problem and a brief description
All the information you provide will be treated with confidentiality. The municipality uses personal details and address information only for the purpose you provided them for.
Urgent issues and outdoor problems
Do you see urgent issues or something outside (street, park or forest) that is not as it should be? Then you can report this to the municipality.
Urgent issues
For example:
- a large pothole in a road
- oil spillage on the road
- chemical waste in the public space, such as drugs or medicines
- an unsafe tree or fallen street sign
- traffic lights not working at a busy intersection
- street lights not working in the whole street
- control unit of street lamp open or gone
- a broken or loose cable
- a blocked sewer
Or call the municipality on phone number 14070.
Rubbish problems
For example:
- rubbish on the street
- a full or broken container
- uncollected rubbish or old paper
- dog poop on the street
- improperly disposed of household waste
- a full or broken rubbish bin
Problems in the public space
For example:
- an unsafe situation
- a wrongly parked vehicle or bicycle
- weeds or sick trees
- a problem with sewage
- graffiti
- a damaged work of art
- a terrace which is not complying with the Begin link: rules, end link.
Are you calling after office hours? Listen to the recording and select the option in the menu which best describes the problem. You will then be connected to a call agent.
