Are you reporting a move? Then you'll need a Proof of Occupancy. This way the municipality can prevent incorrect registrations.
The type of proof of occupancy you will need depends on your living situation:

- the purchase deed or
- the mortgage deed or
- the (provisional) sales contract with a key receipt form stating that the buyer has access to and may use the property before the purchase deed is executed.
Renting from a housing corporation, letting agency, estate agency or property management company:
- the rental contract or
- a permit to rent social housing.
Renting on the commercial market:
- the rental contract or a permit to rent or buy social housing and
- (a copy of) the landlord’s valid identity document and
- (a copy of) the landlord’s proof of ownership.
Sublets or lodging and in the event of cohabitation:
- written permission from the occupant or owner and
- (a copy of) the valid identity document of the occupant or owner and
- (a copy of) the tenancy contract of the occupant or (a copy of) the owner’s proof of ownership
