The Hague Prize is a prize for International Law, awarded periodically by the independent The Hague Prize Foundation.
This year, The Hague Prize for International Law will be awarded to the Egyptian Professor Georges Abi Saab and the British Professor Sir Elihu Lauterpacht.
The Hague Prize for International Law was established in 2002 to reflect the special position of the city of The Hague as ‘City of Peace, Justice and Security’.
A Nominating Committee makes a recommendation for the award to the Board of the Foundation.
