History The Hague as City of Peace and Justice

The Hague Prize for International Law was established in 2002 to reflect the special position of the city of The Hague as ‘City of Peace, Justice and Security’.

Procedure and nominations

A Nominating Committee makes a recommendation for the award to the Board of the Foundation.
