You can order a maximum of 1 business visitor parking permit per business address. You can use this permit for different cars.

You get parking credit

The permit gives you a number of parking hours per year. This is your parking credit.

Register and deregister visitors

Does your visitor need to park his car? Then you have to Begin link: register and deregister your visitor, end link. . The amount of time the visitor’s car was parked will be deducted from your parking credit. Your visitor does not need to pay himself.

• You have a business in an area with paid parking.
• Your company is not located in the Energiekwartier or CS-Oost / Grotiusplaats. These areas are easy to reach by public transportation. And they are located at cycling distance from the downtown area. The Hague’s Central Station and Hollands Spoor train station.
• The business visitor parking permit is not valid in shopping streets during shopping hours.

Submit the following information with your application:

• A registration number in the Trade Register of the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce KVK.
• Are you not yet registered at the KVK? Send the following: a purchase deed or rental contract for the address connected to your permit application.
• Do you practice a regulated profession? For example, as an artist, text writer or dentist? And are you not yet registered at the KVK? Send the following:
• a purchase deed or rental contract for your business premises
• an extract from the register of professions for your profession. Or a copy of the tax return (national taxes) for the year before the year for which you are applying for the parking permit. This should show that your company is located in a permit area.

You can apply for the parking permit by post. Use the form below. Put a check in the box which says: ‘Ja, ik wil een parkeervergunning voor bezoekers aanvragen’.

You pay € 16.75 in fees for each application. You also need to pay the annual cost for the permit. The rate is € 44.45.

The starting and ending date of your permit depends on the neighbourhood for which you have a permit. Look at Begin link: Extend parking permit, end link. to see when you need to extend your permit. If you apply for a permit in the middle of the year, then you will pay for part of the year.

• Has your application been approved? Then the municipality will send you the registration number and the PIN code for the parking permit by post.
• Are you paying through iDeal? Then you will receive your registration number within 1 week. You will get your PIN code 1 day later.
• Are you paying by direct debit? You will receive your registration number within 1 week after the payment is received. You will get your PIN code 1 day later.
• Are you paying by invoice? Then you will get your registration number and PIN code within 3 weeks after the payment is received.

Your parking permit is not valid in many shopping streets during store opening hours. You may park there with your permit only outside store opening hours. These streets are indicated by a red dotted line on the Begin link: maps of the permit areas, end link. .
