City district offices

You can visit The Hague's city district offices to arrange your municipal affairs. You are welcome to visit any of the 8 district offices, regardless of where you live in The Hague. You can avoid a long wait by making an appointment in advance through the website.

You can pay by bank card as well as cash at the Centrum district office (City Hall). At all of the other district offices you can only pay by bank card!

Opening hours for Public Service desks

You will always be able to visit a Public Service desk with an appointment between 8.30 and 20.00 hrs. or during the walk-in hours from 8.30 to 11.00 hrs. If you have made an appointment in advance, you will not have to wait long. Visitors with an appointment always have priority over people who use the walk-in hours. You often have to wait quite a long time during the walk-in hours. Tip: always make an appointment!

You do not have to make an appointment to collect your documents (a passport, identity card or driving licence).
