Types of bulky waste

The municipality will collect

• mattresses
• furniture (cupboard, sofa, chair)
• metal items (old bicycle, drying rack)
• household appliances (washing machine, dryer, refrigerator, freezer)
• electric appliances (CD-player, TV, speakers)
• stroller
• (plastic) toys
• large garden waste (branches, wood, tree trunk)

The municipality will not collect

• (railway) sleepers
• gas canisters and fire extinguishers
• turf
• earth, soil and sand
• Begin link: domestic chemical waste, end link.
• Begin link: construction and demolition waste, end link. (rubble, plasterboard, old sanitary equipment, scrap wood, asbestos, etc.)

You must bring these types of waste to a Begin link: waste depot, end link. yourself.

This can go into a collection container

• bread
• glass
• paper and carton
• textiles, clothing and shoes
• organic waste (GFT)
• plastic, metal and drink cartons (PMD)
• frying oil and grease

Arrange collection of bulky waste or garden waste

Put your waste outside according to the rules:

• before 7.45 hrs. on the collection day. Or after 22.00 hrs. the evening before
• not next to rubbish containers. Otherwise the containers cannot be emptied
• bulky waste may not be longer than 1.5 metres. And not wider or higher than 0.5 metres
• put the same types of waste together. For example: all metal items together
