The Hague International Centre is the municipal contact centre for international organisations and companies and their expatriate employees in The Hague region.

Opening hours for general information

You can visit the counter Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 17.00 hrs. No appointment is needed for:

  • general questions
  • purchasing your Statement of Health to convert your foreign driving licence
  • requesting an extract from the Municipal Personal Records Database (BRP) in the Municipality of The Hague
  • deregistering from The Hague’s Municipal Personal Records Database (BRP) (no earlier than 5 days before your date of departure)

    Appointment needed

    An appointment is required for the following registration procedures:

    • initial registration with the municipality (BRP)
    • resettling in The Hague from abroad (BRP)

    Please note: for registration of (foreign) birth certificate, marriage certificate, death certificate and divorce certificate you need to make an appointment by sending an email to internationalcentre@denhaag.nl.

    Services during morning hours

    The following services are available only Monday to Thursday from 9.00 to 12.00 hrs.:

    • collecting your IND card
    • returning your IND card (no earlier than 5 days before your date of departure)

      Public transport

      It is about a 15-minute walk to The Hague International Centre from The Hague's Central Station (CS) or Den Haag Hollands Spoor (HS). The Hague International Centre can easily be reached by tram and bus. Visit the public transportation information website 9292.nl.
