BRP extract plus nationality
An extract with nationality states which nationalities you have in the municipality’s Personal Records Database (BRP). You may need this extract, for example, for legal proceedings.
What does the extract contain?
- your surname
- your given name(s)
- your date and place of birth
- your home address
- your nationality or nationalities

Conditions
You are registered at an address in The Hague.
Apply
Apply for the extract online (in Dutch). Log in with DigiD. Once you are logged in, click on ‘Volgende’. You can then choose which extract you need.

Fees
€ 16.65 (rate in 2023). You pay this amount through iDEAL when you apply online.
How long does it take?
The municipality will send you the extract within 3 working days. This can take longer depending on the mail service to your home address. Do you need the extract right away? Visit City Hall Spui or the Leyweg City Office. For the hours of operation go to City district offices: opening hours and locations. You do not need to make an appointment. You need to bring a valid form of identification with you.
