Receive post from Tax Department in the Berichtenbox

The municipality is taking part in the Berichtenbox on MijnOverheid: your private message box where you can also get messages from the Municipal Tax Department. The Berichtenbox is easy-to-use, safe and always available. Read about the advantages and how you can register for it.

Would you like to receive digital post from the Municipal Tax Department such as the assessment for municipal taxes? You can do this on MijnOverheid. Will you be using MijnOverheid for this first time? Go to Begin external link: MijnOverheid(External link), end external link. and log in with DigiD or a European approved login.

Change how you receive your mail digitally

Do you want to receive your mail digitally through the Message Box (Berichtenbox), or on paper?
Change your preference in Begin external link: MijnOverheid(External link), end external link..

How it works:

1. Go to MijnOverheid.nl and log in with DigiD
2. Go to Settings
3. Choose Organisations in the Message Box
4. Go to Municipalities
5. Turn Municipality of The Hague:
   on if you want to receive mail digitally
   off if you want to receive paper mail
6. Click Save
