Did you find a pet or stray cat? Or an animal which is sick, injured or dead? You can report this to the municipality.
Did you find one of the following:
- a pet
- a stray cat
- an injured or sick animal
- an animal in extreme cold
- a dead animal

Sick animal
If you see a live bird with a paralysed neck or wings in or near the water? It may be infected with botulism. Report this to the Begin external link: Dierenambulance Den Haag(External link), end external link. (Animal Rescue Service) by calling: 070 328 28 28.
Dead animal
Do you see a dead animal in the water? Report this to the municipality.
Is someone hurting their pet? That is called abuse. Is someone not taking proper care of their pet? That is called neglect.
Do you see this in your area? Report it to the police by calling: 144.
