A public session of the central voting office will be held on 24 March at 10.00 hrs. The office will then announce the results of the Provincial Council elections in South Holland. And the results of the electoral college elections for non-residents.

The Hague using speed activated message signs
In order to improve traffic safety in The Hague, the municipality is using smart speed signs. These are digital message signs with smiley or sad faces. A new feature is that the meter informs the police about the time and location when traffic is frequently driving too fast.

The new television programme ‘Burgerzaken’ will start on NPO 1 at 21.05 hrs. on Tuesday, 21 February 2023. This programme gives an idea of the type of daily activities found in City Hall. It was filmed in 5 Dutch municipalities, including The Hague.

Experiment with aboveground organic waste container
The municipality will start an experiment to see if residents can separate their organic waste (GFT) more easily. It is planning to place a 'biococon' on the Harstenhoekweg in Scheveningen. The trial will last 6 months.
