Erasmusweg: paving work
The Erasmusweg will get new asphalt between the Dedemsvaartweg and the Leyweg. The road will be closed towards the city centre on Tuesday, 2 March.

Extra opening hours for Public Service counters on Saturday
The Public Service counters will offer additional opening hours on Saturday mornings in City Hall Spui as of 6 March. This will give residents more possibilities for making an appointment in order to apply for documents.

Utrechtsebaan: closed 2 weekends
The Utrechtsebaan will be closed to traffic 2 weekends in February. The municipality will be working on and around the Utrechtsebaan during the month.

Schipperskwartier Bepaalt: winners announced
The municipality made money available to make the Schipperskwartier more beautiful, greener, physically active and nicer. On 22 January 2021 the 8 winners of Schipperskwartier Bepaalt received a check totalling € 30,000.

Local taxes remain low in The Hague
The local taxes for residents of The Hague will go up in 2021. This is due to the fact that the waste tax needs to be raised. Nevertheless The Hague is still a city with low local taxes.

Festivities around the Rotterdamsebaan
It is time to celebrate at the Rotterdamsebaan. The new road between the Ypenburg interchange and The Hague's Centrumring is nearly ready to open to traffic. There will be a festive live broadcast of the opening of the Rotterdamsebaan at 15.00 hrs. on Friday, 5 February.

The Hague collecting waste in containers with sensors
Using an 'electronic eye' in every container, the Haagse Milieu Services will now exactly which containers need to be emptied. This system will be introduced as of 25 January. Segbroek will be the first city district to get the sensors.
