Cyber Roadshow

One in five entrepreneurs experiences cybercrime, which often leads to bankruptcy for those affected. In addition, millions of Dutch citizens fall victim to cybercrime every year.

This needs to change. That is why, on Friday 3 October 2025, the Municipality of The Hague will be working together with various partners at different locations across Scheveningen to provide entrepreneurs and residents with more information about cybersecurity. With a small van serving tea and coffee, we look forward to having a conversation with you. In addition, the Cyber Flare Award will be presented by mayor Jan van Zanen, to an initiative that contributes to strengthening cybersecurity in the city.

What will this event offer you?

  • You will receive more information about cybersecurity.
  • You will get practical tips to improve your own cybersecurity.
  • Flyers will be handed out so you can continue working on this afterwards.
  • For entrepreneurs: if you are interested, we can offer you an advisory meeting with “Platform Veilig Ondernemen” (Platform for Safe Entrepreneurship).
  • We can tell you more about upcoming events where cybersecurity will also be a central theme.
  • A local initiative in The Hague will be awarded a Cyber Flare Award in recognition of its efforts to help residents work more safely online.

Date: Friday 3 October 2025, 10:30–16:15
Location: Scheveningen: Belgisch Park – Aert van der Goesstraat and Frederik Hendriklaan – Harbour – Boulevard (Cyber Flare Award presentation)
