Would you like to report a problem to the Municipality of The Hague about a public area? This can be done online.

Although the complaint form is in Dutch, the procedure is fairly straightforward. Go to the online form: Melding openbare ruimte (in Dutch).

You can read all about the procedure under Report a problem to the municipality. You will need to note the address of the problem as precisely as possible and to describe the problem in as much detail as possible. You are also encouraged to upload digital photos.

There is no charge to file a complaint about a public area and in most cases the municipality will address the problem within 3 to 5 working days.
