The Hague International Centre

The Hague International Centre is the point of contact for international staff of organisations and companies in The Hague, Delft, Leidschendam-Voorburg and Rijswijk. The centre makes you feel at home in The Hague region.

What does The Hague International Centre do?

The Hague International Centre offers information and guidance about living and working in The Hague region. It also takes care of formalities such as municipal registration (BRP), citizen service number (BSN) and issuance of residence permits. Moreover, it organises events to help you settle in The Hague region. The centre works in close collaboration with its partners ACCESS and the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND).

Please note: services on formalities are only available for international staff of organisations and companies.

Who is it for?

The Hague International Centre offers services to internationals who come to live and work in The Hague, Delft, Rijswijk or Leidschendam-Voorburg (The Hague region). It does this in cooperation with these municipalities.

Appointment for municipal registration

You can make an appointment to register in the Personal Records Database (BRP) through The Hague International Centre website. Once you register, you will receive a residence permit (as requested by your employer) and a citizen service number (BSN) on the spot.

Opening hours

  • For municipal registration, you need to Begin external link: make an appointment(External link), end external link..
  • To submit certificates (such as birth and marriage certificates), you need to make an appointment by sending an email to Begin link: internationalcentre@denhaag.nl, end link. .
  • You can visit The Hague International Centre for general questions, to deregister from the municipality (only for The Hague), order extracts from the Personal Records Database (BRP) and to arrange a Statement of Health (from the CBR) Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 17.00 hrs.
  • Please note: You can collect your residence permit (without municipal registration) only Monday to Thursday from 9.00 to 12.00 hrs.
