On this page you will find more information about the coronavirus. The municipality is providing support to businesses and the cultural sector.

Rules in municipal buildings

The municipality is following the national guidelines to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). More information about these rules can be found on the website of the Dutch government.

These are the new basic rules for the municipality's public spaces:

  • Wash your hands regularly.
  • Cough and sneeze into the crook of your elbow.
  • Symptoms? Stay home and take a test.

If you have symptoms, please cancel your appointment. If you have a cold and you still come to the appointment, you will not be served. You will get a new appointment.

The municipality's indoor spaces regularly get fresh outdoor air (good ventilation).

Support for the cultural sector

  • The municipality is taking a flexible stance towards subsidy agreements if you need to change these due to the coronavirus.
  • The municipality has also put together a support package in 2022 to help The Hague's cultural sector get through the coronavirus crisis (RIS 311009).

Testing and vaccination

You can see who can get tested for the coronavirus on the website of GGD Haaglanden. You will also find more information on this website about the test sites.

Would you like to get vaccinated? There is 1 permanent vaccination location in The Hague in the former hospital on the Sportlaan. There are also temporary vaccination locations. The locations can be found on the website of GGD Haaglanden.
