Declaration of support (for voters)

The Dutch parliamentary elections will be held on 22 November 2023. You can state your support for the participation of a political party in a declaration of support.

Political parties which do not yet have a seat in the Tweede Kamer (House of Representatives) have to collect at least 30 declarations of support from voters.

When and where

You can make a declaration of support between 25 September and 9 October 2023. You can do this at the election counter at City Hall (Spui 70).

The election counter is open:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8.30 to 17.00 hrs.
  • Thursday from 12.00 to 20.00 hrs.

The election counter will be open one more time for the declarations of support on 11 and 12 October from 8.30 to 17.00 hrs. You will then be able to state your support for a party which previously did not submit enough valid declarations of support.
