Attend the vote counting for the Provincial Council and Water Board elections

Would you like to watch how the votes are being counted for the combined Provincial Council and Water Board elections? You are welcome at the vote counting on 20 and 21 March.

After the polling stations close on 20 March 2019, the votes will be counted per party for the combined Provincial Council and Water Board elections. This means the number of votes each party received will be counted. The following day, on 21 March, the number of votes per candidate will be counted at the central counting station. Then it will be clear how many votes each candidate received. Both counts are open to the public. You are welcome there as an observer.

Vote counting per party on 20 March

Most of the polling stations close at 21.00 hrs. on election day on 20 March. Afterwards the votes will be counted per party. In most cases, this takes place at the polling stations themselves. You can stop by to take a look as of 21.00 hrs. You can report to the chairman of the polling station.

Vote counting in the Fokker Terminal

At a number of polling stations vote counting is not possible. For these polling stations the votes will be counted in the Fokker Terminal.

Vote counting per candidate on 21 March

All of the votes cast will be counted in the Fokker Terminal on 21 March. On this day the votes will be counted per candidate. More than 1000 people will participate in this Central Counting (CC). You are also able to come and watch:

  • when: Thursday, 21 March as of 8.00 hrs.
  • where: Fokker Terminal, Binckhorstlaan 249.

Parking is limited so please come on foot, by bike or using public transportation.
