The Hague City Games

The Hague City Games is a free festival for all residents of The Hague. You can take part in all kinds of sports and physical activities. You can also enjoy music, performances and great food. The City Games take place in around the Zuiderpark sport campus. Unfortunately, due to all Corona measures, this event cannot be held in 2020. We will let you know about the dates in 2021!

Who is it for?

The festival is geared to people of all ages. There are suitable activities for adults, seniors and children. The main idea is to have fun together. Are you not used to physical exercise? Or are you overweight or do you have a physical limitation? Even then you can still take part.


There are all kinds of activities during the City Games. You can take part in various sports and games and physical exercise. You are also welcome to just watch and enjoy the fun.

  • Watch demonstrations by experienced athletes.
  • Try sports you already know and also which are new to you, such as football, boxing, dancing, tennis, judo, karate and much more.
  • Enjoy the musical performances.
  • Meet sports clubs and other organisations in your neighbourhood.
  • Discover where you can use your Ooievaarspas reduction card to do sports for free or with a 50% discount.
  • Take a free fitness test.
  • Get free advice on a healthy diet and lifestyle.
