Practice swimming without armbands

Children who do not have a swimming certificate are required to wear inflatable armbands in all of The Hague’s swimming pools. These rules do not apply to babies who are not yet able to walk. Would you like to swim with your child without inflatable armbands? Check when this is permitted at the specific swimming pools.

It is possible to practice swimming with your child without inflatable armbands in the instructional pool in Het Hofbad, De Houtzagerij, Overbosch, De Waterthor and Zuiderpark swimming pools on the following days and at the following times:

Sunday from 11.00 to 13.30 hrs.
Overbosch Saturday from 12.00 to 14.00 hrs.
Sunday from 8.00 to 14.00 hrs.
De Waterthor Saturday from 8.00 to 13.00 hrs.
Sunday from 8.00 to 13.00 hrs.
Zuiderpark Saturday from 10.30 to 13.00 hrs.
Sunday from 8.30 to 11.00 hrs.
