The organisers of the Invictus Games have decided to postpone the event due to the coronavirus. They will examine the possibilities for holding the Invictus Games in The Hague in the spring of 2022.

The Invictus Games were scheduled to take place in the Zuiderpark sport campus in May 2020. Due to the corona epidemic the event was postponed until 2021. It has now been decided to organise the Invictus Games in the spring of 2022.

The Invictus Games is an international multi-sport event for wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel. The participants use the power of sport to inspire recovery. The Invictus Games also generate a wider understanding and respect of all those who serve their country. The idea for the event comes from Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.
