Your ideas wanted for fixing up Nieuw Waldeck

Published: 28 October 2019Modified: 29 October 2019

Nieuw Waldeck will be getting a facelift. The municipality would like to work with residents to draw up plans to make the neighbourhood more beautiful, climate-proof, social, healthy and greener. Residents are invited to help with the plans.

During neighbourhood walks residents already indicated many spots which they think should be fixed up. A number of them were placed on a map which can be found at nieuwwaldeckknaptop.denhaag.nl. Residents can submit additional spots which need to be fixed up to this map until 5 November 2019.

Walk-in meeting

On 4 November 2019 there will be a walk-in meeting for all residents of Nieuw Waldeck. There representatives from the municipality will explain how they are working with residents on the plans for Nieuw Waldeck. The spots which need to be fixed up can be seen on maps. Residents can also verbally tell the municipality what they think should be fixed up.

  • When: 4 November 2019 from 17.30 to 20.00 hrs.
  • Where: Wijkcentrum De Geest, Georges Bizetstraat 25

The meeting does not have a fixed programme. Residents can stop by when it suits them best.

Sign up for the neighbourhood committee

A neighbourhood committee will be assembled from residents from the neighbourhood. There are 15 spots available in this neighbourhood committee. Together with other residents and experts the committee will work to develop plans for the neighbourhood using the spots which need to be fixed up as a starting point. It will meet a total of 3 times.
