Wecycle campaign: turn in your electric appliances

Published: 24 April 2019Modified: 22 May 2019

Take part in the Wecycle campaign. You were not able to get rid of your old mixer or hairdryer at the street market? Turn in old mixers or hairdryers at a garbage and recycling station and get a Wecycle game.

Each year many appliances wind up in the rubbish container. By disposing of them separately, the raw materials can be reused and dangerous particles are not released into the environment.

How do you take part?

  • Go to 1 of The Hague's garbage and recycling stations. Do not forget your Afvalpas.
  • Turn in your old or broken electrical appliances. An electrical appliance is any appliance which has a plug or is battery operated. You are also allowed to turn in old low-energy light bulbs.
  • You will get a free Wecycle Recycle Memory game. Be fast because there is a limited supply.
