The municipality is warning residents of The Hague with an Android smartphone to look closely at whether they downloaded the correct app for visitor parking: the Parkeren Den Haag app. It seems that there is an unofficial app which may not be using and storing your data safely. Look at the differences between the apps.

The Hague received a report from a resident of an unofficial app. People using this app can register and deregister the number plate of their visitors for paid parking. The municipality can only guarantee that the information you enter in the official app will remain safe. The municipality therefore advises you to delete the unofficial app from your telephone and to download the municipality’s Parkeren Den Haag app. This official app was developed by Brightpark B.V.
