Visit a preschool and register your child right away

Tuesday, 26 September 2023 is the Dag van de Haagse Voorschool (Preschool Day). On this day parents and caregivers of young children can visit a preschool in their neighbourhood. There will be tours and parents can register their child right away.
Children between the ages of 2.5 and 4 years can attend a preschool to get prepared for primary school. During preschool extra time and attention are focused on learning Dutch well and playing together. There are preschools at various organisations, such as toddler care facilities, primary schools and day care centres. Referral needed from CJG
Children may attend preschool for 16 hours per week. If you want to register your child for a preschool, then you need a referral from the Centrum Jeugd en Gezin (CJG).
