Prins Clauslaan: new asfalt

The municipality is laying new asphalt on the Prins Clauslaan. The new asphalt will be placed only in the section of the road between the Theresiastraat and the Juliana van Stolberglaan. The work will begin on Monday, 27 June and will last until Friday, 8 July 2022.

The asphalt on the Prins Clauslaan is in poor condition. This is why the municipality is carrying out major maintenance work on the road.

What is going to happen

The old asphalt will be removed.
The road will get new asphalt.

Diversions

During the project the Prins Clauslaan will be closed from the Theresiastraat to Juliana van Stolberglaan. There will be diversions for motorists and public transport.

Diversions for vehicular traffic

Vehicular traffic will follow a diversion via the Prins Clauslaan, Theresiastraat, Laan van Nieuw Oost-Indië and Juliana van Stolberglaan (see map).

Diversions for public transportation

EBS bus lines 43 and 44 and Arriva bus lines 385 and 685 will follow a diversion via the Laan van Nieuw Oost-Indië and Juliana van Stolberglaan. The diversion route can also be found at www.ebs-ov.nl and www.arriva.nl.

Safety

Work sites are dangerous places. Keep children away.

Disturbance

Removing the old asphalt can lead to excessive noise. The working hours are from 7.00 to 16.00 hrs.
