Paid parking introduced in the Haven-, Geuzen- and Statenkwartier

Paid parking was extended throughout the Scheveningen district as of Thursday, 30 November. Paid parking was introduced in all of Scheveningen district in order to free up more parking space in the harbour area and surrounding neighbourhoods. Many people went in search of a parking spot in these areas because parking was still free there.

Paid parking measures

The following measures apply to the 3 areas in Scheveningen:

  • For the Havenkwartier: paid parking from 18.00 to midnight, 7 days a week. The exceptions are the Vissershavenstraat and part of the Vissershavenweg. These streets will be part of the coastal measures (from 10.00 to midnight, 7 days a week plus from midnight to 2.00 hrs. on Saturday and Sunday). Parking on the Hellingweg will remain free. Residents and businesses on the Hellingweg will not be eligible for a parking permit.
  • For the Geuzenkwartier: paid parking from 13.00 to midnight, 7 days a week.
  • For the Statenkwartier: paid parking from 13.00 to midnight, 7 days a week.

Residents and business can apply for a parking permit.
