Market stands available at Haagse Markt

The municipality has market stands available at the Haagse Markt on the Herman Costerstraat a maximum of 4 times a year. Would you like to have a market stand? You can apply for a permit.

The application periods in 2018 are:

  • From 1 to 31 January at midnight
  • From 1 to 30 April at midnight
  • From 1 to 31 July at midnight
  • From 1 to 31 October at midnight

Branch of trade

You can only apply within a branch of trade in which there is still space on the relevant market days. This means that the maximum number of market stands permitted for this branch has not yet been reached.

Location

The locations of the available market stands can be seen on the map. You can also view the available market stands at the information centre at the Haagse Markt on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 9.00 and 12.00 hrs.  

You will need to choose an available market stand yourself and indicate its location in your application.

About the Haagse Markt

The Haagse Markt is 1 of the largest outdoor markets in Europe with more than 500 stalls.

  • The market days are Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The market is open from 9.00 to 17.00 hrs.
  • The rate for the most common market stand with storage unit is € 32.53 per market day. This amount includes service costs but does not include the use of electricity, gas and water and VAT.
  • There are also open market stands without a storage unit. The prices can vary and are lower.
