Planning

The road work will begin in the week of 7 January and will last until 29 March 2019 at the latest. In order to guarantee the area’s accessibility for emergency services, the work has been divided into 4 phases:

  • phase 1: Korte Molenstraat from 7 January 2019 to 28 January 2019

  • phase 2: Juffrouw Idastraat (between Torenstraat and Prinsestraat) from 28 January to 18 February 2019

  • phase 3: Nobelstraat from 18 February 2019 to 11 March 2019

  • phase 4: Pieterstraat from 1 March 2019 to 29 March 2019.

Accessibility

When road works are being conducted in the street, it will be closed off to all traffic. Homes and businesses will remain accessible via temporary walkways.

Household rubbish

The garbage trucks will not be able to get to the street during the road works. For each phase 2 spots will be designated where you can put out your household rubbish.
