Discrimination complaints office in The Hague

Residents of The Hague who experience discrimination can now report this to a new complaints office for discrimination: Den Haag Meldt. This service will be carried out by The Hague’s municipal ombudsman.

  • on telephone number (070) 752 82 00
  • at the office of the ombudsman at St. Jacobstraat 125 in The Hague.

The ombudsman

The ombudsman is a professional and completely independent public advocate who investigates complaints and can provide residents of The Hague with neutral advice if they experience discrimination. The municipal ombudsman has a mandate to uphold the constitutional right to equality before the law. Discrimination on the basis of religion, life principles, political preference, race, gender or any other reason is prohibited.
