City Challenge: getting residents to separate more cardboard

Published: 2 July 2018Modified: 2 July 2018

Residents of The Hague are purchasing more and more items online. Many of these items are delivered in large cardboard boxes which are too bulky to place in the paper containers. The municipality is looking for residents with good ideas for disposing of carton separately. Do you have a good idea? Enter the City Challenge and you can win a prize.

Cardboard can easily be processed into new carton. Reusing carton saves trees. It is also a way for The Hague to keep the waste tax low. But then it needs to be disposed of separately.
