Arrange direct debit for land lease before 8 December

Published: 4 December 2017Modified: 4 December 2017

Residents of The Hague who pay land lease (erfpacht) to the municipality recently received a letter about changing their method of payment as of 2018. The deadline to arrange direct debit has been extended until Friday, 8 December.

The letter states that when they authorise a direct debit payment before 1 December, the first direct debit payment will already take place for the second half of 2017. The municipality has decided to extend this deadline to 8 December.

Residents of The Hague who pay land lease can now arrange the direct debit before 8 December 2017 via MijnDenHaag or the authorisation card. They will already be able to use direct debit to make their next payment.

The back of the green card included among the authorisation cards erroneously states that it is a 'withdrawal of authorisation'. Please ignore this text and send in the green card if you would like to authorise a direct debit.
