Rent a municipal garden plot 2019

Residents of The Hague can rent a garden plot at one of the school gardening complexes from 15 March to 15 November. Registration is closed for 2019; no more spots are available.

You can plant your own vegetables, fruit and flowers in a communal garden. All of the plots are 15 square metres.

Gardening takes time

Caring for a garden takes time. The garden plots are 15 square metres and require about 4 hours of work a week. When you sign up for a garden plot, you are taking on a commitment to maintain the garden and your work will be checked. The fee to rent a municipal garden plot is € 35 for the 2019 season.

Registration for 2019

You could sign up again for a garden plot in 2019 from 1 December to 31 December 2018. Registration is now closed.
