Utrechtsebaan: roadworks schedule

The municipality is fixing up the Utrechtsebaan. This will take place in 2 phases: the preparatory phase and the main phase. The preparations are finished and the repair work has started.

Main phase (17 January to May 2022)

The municipality will carry out the major work from 17 January to May 2022. You will still be able to drive into the city on the Utrechtsebaan. If you are driving out of the city, there will be diversions. In both cases, plan for longer travel times.

Closed in both directions on several weekends

There will be 4 other weekends in January and February 2022 when the road will be closed in both directions. Entrance and Exit ramp 3 (Bezuidenhout) will also be closed then. Traffic will be diverted. This will happen during the following weekends:

      11 to 14 February From Friday 22.00 hrs. to Monday 5.00 hrs. Closed in both directions. The lanes driving 'into the city' will be open up to and including Exit ramp 4. The lanes driving 'out of the city' will be open as of Entrance ramp 3
      18 to 21 February* From Friday 22.00 hrs. to Monday 5.00 hrs. Closed in both directions. The lanes driving 'into the city' will be open up to and including Exit ramp 4. The lanes driving 'out of the city' will be open as of Entrance ramp 3

      * The weekend of 18 to 21 February 2022 has been reserved if extra time is needed for the roadworks.
