‘The Greatest Thing’ theatre on location

Sail through the canals of The Hague and experience ‘The Greatest Thing’, a magical, musical fairytale about love on 20 and 21 July. STET The English Theatre presents an evening programme on location which will be reached by boat through the city's canals.

The Greatest Thing is a visual performance with an exclusive soundtrack, starring singer-songwriter Miss Walker and mime artist Silent Rocco from Berlin.

For 45 minutes, the scene turns into a gateway to another world. A quiet vagabond walks into a seemingly lifeless neon fairy. The content of her golden leather pouch becomes the key to their common story and unleashes a tender musical fairytale, rife with enchanting live songs, interactive moments and captivating choreographies.

About the production

This performance has won great acclaim at festivals throughout Europe and Asia and can now be seen in the Netherlands in the green surroundings of the special open-air Zuiderparktheater.

A unique experience for theatre and boat-lovers. It is suitable for young and old. On board you can bring your own picnic if you like. A local tour guide will tell you interesting stories about the neighbourhoods you pass by. After the performance the Willemsvaart boats will return everybody back to the normal world where the adventure began.
