Oh Oh Intro

Oh Oh Intro is a free festival for new and returning students in The Hague on Thursday, 30 August on the Lange Voorhout during the Oh Oh Intro Week. Join the party and get to know your city and your fellow students.

Oh Oh Intro Week

The city of the Hague is the fastest growing college town in the Netherlands with more than 7,500 new students starting their studies in The Hague. During the Oh Oh Intro orientation week there will be all kinds of fun activities organised on the different campuses in The Hague as well as the Lange Voorhout, Grote Markt and the city centre.

Various sports clubs will introduce themselves to students on the Lange Voorhout on Tuesday, 28 August, followed by a tug-of-war and a hula hoop contest. On Wednesday, 29 August new studetns are invited to take a boat ride through the city’s canals with ‘great beats and water pistols’. On Friday, 31 August you can recover from your hangover at a breakfast on the Grote Markt.

Festival on the Lange Voorhout

New students can make their way to the Lange Voorhout on Thursday, 30 August for the free Oh Oh Festival. The festival will have 3 stages featuring live entertainment and DJs. There will be a Food Village with great nibbles such as doner kebab, hamburgers, fries and salads.

More than 60 organisations will present themselves during the festival offering all kinds of discounts and great prizes. Stop by and get information on student accommodations, banking, transportation, sports, working during your study, nightlife, student clubs, political groups for youth and shopping in The Hague.

The Hague’s alderman for education Saskia Bruines will open the festival at 19.00 hrs. together with the city’s night mayor Sjoerd van Schuylenburch.

The Oh Oh Intro Festival takes place from 15.00 to 23.00 hrs. on Thursday, 30 August on the Lange Voorhout. Entrance is free for students.
