    Seaside Celebrations

This event is part of the Seaside Celebrations The Hague – Scheveningen. Exactly 200 years ago, Jacobus Pronk built the first bathhouse in Scheveningen, a small wooden structure containing 4 seawater bathtubs. This gave rise to the first seaside resort in the Netherlands. Since 1818 the fishing village has evolved into a lively seaside resort that attracts a wide public. The year-round Seaside Celebrations programme kicked off on 1 January 2018 with the Unox New Year's Dive and ends on 31 December 2018 with Bonfires.
