ANZAC Day at Westduin Cemetery

The Australian and New Zealand Ambassadors to the Netherlands H.E. Dr Brett Mason and H.E. Ms Lyndal Walker invite members of the Australian and New Zealand communities in the Netherlands to commemorate ANZAC Day on Wednesday, 25 April.

The ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) Day Remembrance and wreath laying ceremony will be held at 8.00 hrs. at the Commonwealth War Graves Section of the Westduin Ceremony (Ockenburghstraat 27) in The Hague.

Ceremony attendees are invited to a breakfast at the Australian residence and to view an exhibition of art works by Geert Snoeijers, Belinda Fox, Michael Cook and a collection of Aboriginal prints.

For security reasons: no backpacks, please.

A bus will depart from The Hague’s Central Station at 7.15 hrs. to transport attendees to the Cemetery and the Australian residence. It will return to The Hague’s Central Station by 10.30 hrs. There are limited places available for a € 1 coin donation.
