‘A Christmas Carol’ dance spectacle

The intriguing and entertaining dance production ‘A Christmas Carol’ by DeDDDD will have its world premiere in The Hague’s Zuiderstrandtheater from 25 to 29 December.

The famous tale of ‘A Christmas Carol’ by Charles Dickens will be set in the wondrous world of The Hague and Scheveningen from the beginning of the 20th century. The timeless and heart-warming story of Ebenezer Scrooge will be danced to a mix of classical music and traditional Christmas carols. It will be performed by the Residentie Orkest and conducted by Carl Davis.

‘A Christmas Carol' is brought to you by the Hague-based De Dutch Don’t Dance Division (DeDDDD), the same dance company responsible for ‘Dancing in a Winter Wonderland’, ‘The Nutcracker’ and the Oriental fairy tale ballet ‘Abdallah’. It features gorgeous costumes and a cast of more than 80 dancers and singers between the ages of 5 and 65+.

The production is choreographed by Rinus Sprong and Thom Stuart.
