Public school holidays
Look when your child has his school holidays. The Ministry of Education determines the dates for the summer vacation. The school boards decide on the other vacation days.

Below you will find the overview of the school vacations for the Dutch public schools in The Hague. Each school vacation, apart from the summer vacation, is decided in consultation with representatives of the school boards in The Hague. Please note that the school holidays in The Hague do not always coincide with the rest of the region (regio Midden).

All of the high schools also have an additional 5 days free. Many schools use these days to make the May vacation 2 weeks.
