Parkpop

The Hague will be rocking again during the 38th edition of Parkpop on Sunday, 24 June in Zuiderpark. This year’s headline acts are the highly popular Dutch band Bløf, Scottish alternative rock band The Fratellis and Dutch tribute band The Analogues with work from The Beatles.

The last Sunday in June is traditionally reserved for Parkpop, Europe’s largest free outdoor pop music festival held in The Hague’s Zuiderpark. Zuiderpark is kicking up its heels once again to offer a day crammed with music, people and conviviality.

Parkpop has a rich history of high calibre musicians from the national and international pop music world. Parkpop has grown from one stage in 1981 and just a few thousand visitors to a mega event today with 3 stages, hundreds of thousands of festival goers and all kinds of fun activities.

International celebrities

The annual Parkpop line-up this year is great and will again include Dutch and international celebrities performing on 3 stages. The Jupiler Stage and Hifi Klubben Stage will host the ‘big’ names, while the Haags Podium will feature locally grown talent. There will also be a festival market and an I Love Hip-Hop Area.

This year’s festival will feature Danny Vera, Bløf, De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, DeWolff, The Fratellis, Roachford, The GO! Team, The Dubbeez, The Analogues and Bökkers.
