The Spuistraat and Vlamingstraat form the heart of the city centre with a multitude of popular fashion, footwear and specialty stores. For more exclusive fashion, the Haagsche Bluf comes highly recommended. Behind the beautiful facades of the historical buildings you will find some of the best fashion specialty shops, a spa, and you can enjoy a real Italian espresso next to the fountain or even live music on a lazy Saturday afternoon.
The Hofkwartier, situated between the Grote Kerk and Palace Noordeinde, is the oldest part of the city centre and is full of galleries, specialty shops, cosy bars and restaurants and historic charm. Hoogstraat, Molenstraat and Plaats are the centre of haute couture, exclusive shoe shops and jewellery establishments.
