The bat-and-ball game of cricket has made its way across the Channel and there are several clubs in The Hague area.
Groen-Geel can be found at Sportpark De Roggewoning off the Landscheidingsweg on the border between The Hague and Wassenaar. The club also has a 9-hole golf course and a field hockey division.
HBS-Craeyenhout was founded in 1893 and is located near the Vogelwijk on the Daal en Bergselaan in The Hague. The club offers football (boys only), hockey (girls only) and cricket for both youth players and senior players.
The activities of the Royal Hague Cricket and Football Club (KHC&VV) take place on the grounds on the Van Hogenhoucklaan in the Benoordenhout neighbourhood of The Hague. The Club has been in existence since 1878 when the cricket club was founded. Currently the KHC&VV has around 1,750 members. Active participation in sports is possible from the age of 5 (football) or 6 years (cricket, tennis and squash).
Quick was founded as a football club in 1896 and offers football and cricket for youth and senior players in a beautiful facility near Kijkduin.
V.C.C. was founded in 1932 and in 2002 won the national championship for the first time in its history. It is located on the Veurselaan in Voorburg and has five junior teams and six senior teams per season.
