Laaktheater

The Laaktheater (formerly Pierrot Children's Theatre) is the theatre of the Laak city district in The Hague.

A small and intimate theatre with 147 seats and two studios for workshops. Laaktheater is the theatre for high-quality children's performances every Wednesday and Saturday afternoon.

Since 2005 the Laaktheater has also served as a 'cultural anchor' for the Laak city district, which means it forms the area's cultural heart. People with ideas for cultural projets can approach the theatre for support.

With its diversity in residents, lifestyles, ideas, beliefs, talens and initiatives, Laak is a rich source of inspiration. This goes hand in hand with a varied program such as neighbourhood theatre with professional actors, neighbourhood residents and sometimes with both as well as performances at exciting locations outside the theatre.

Since 2010 the Laaktheater has been providing an extensive educational programme for schools in Laak.
