ENFSI

ENFSI was established with the purpose of sharing knowledge, exchanging experiences and coming to mutual agreements in the field of forensic sciences. ENFSI is recognized as an expert group in the field of forensic sciences.

Since its very beginning, ENFSI has developed successfully, the number of members increasing steadily over the years from 11 in 1993 to 54 in 2007. These 54 laboratories come from 31 countries, geographically spread across Europe.

ENFSI focuses on strengthening and consolidating the network. An important aim is to expand its membership throughout Europe while maintaining its development and credibility. It encourages all ENFSI laboratories to comply with best practice and international standards for quality and competence assurance.
