For a map of recommended cycling routes through The Hague, you are advised to get ‘Den Haag op the fiets’ published by Citoplan. This map can be purchased at bookshops and stationery shops and marks the rental and repair shops and manned lock-up facilities.

For recreational cycling through The Hague’s parks and gardens, the Fietsersbond (Dutch Cyclists’ Union) has published a booklet called the ‘Parkenroute’ (Park Route). Each route is about 20 kilometres long and clearly marked by little yellow Parkenroute signs. The booklet is available from the Tourist Information Office (VVV), The Hague Information Centre in City Hall and at the Stanley and Livingston bookshop.

The ANWB shop also sells a number of maps and books with recreational cycling routes in and around The Hague, such as 'Fiets de stad uit - Den Haag'.

If you are fed up using the same routes and want a change, a route map for the Province of Zuid-Holland (South Holland) is available online. Here you can set your route preferences, for example, via the dunes or avoiding main roads.
