With a European handicapped parking permit or a local handicapped parking permit you do not have to pay for a parking meter in The Hague. You may also park your car free of charge at one of the 450 general handicapped parking spaces in The Hague.
In
some places in the city there is a parking ban. You can nevertheless
park there with a handicapped parking permit. These are also free of
charge but you cannot leave your car there for more than three hours.
In these spots you are obliged to place a parking disk where it can be
clearly seen next to your handicapped parking permit.
Note: free parking is not available in the parking garages!
