In Muzee Scheveningen you’ll learn everything about living in, on and around the sea. Nature and history have been brought together under one roof.

Discover how one lived onboard a bomschuit fishing boat and sink into the icy cold depths of the ocean.

In the museum’s sea life collection, also called the marine biology collection, you’ll find an aquarium, coral reef and a large collection of seashells. The museum also organises regular exhibitions on nature and the culture in Scheveningen.

Muzee Scheveningen is fun for both young and old. Children can take part in a scavenger hunt and can also celebrate their birthday party there. The museum organises special activities for children during the school holidays.
