The Hague Academic Coalition (HAC) is a consortium of the city’s major research and education institutes, working in the areas of Peace, Justice, Security and Development.
Considering the increasing interest of students and scholars to come and study in The Hague, the HAC’s prime aim is to stimulate innovative research and education in these areas and to strengthen The Hague’s position as a knowledge city.
Crossing boundaries – between countries and regions, between disciplines. between theory and practice – are HAC’s major future challenges. Both the HAC and its member institutes have a high frequency of international policy dialogues, public debates and professional seminars. The HAC is proud to be one of the founding fathers of The Hague Institute for Global Justice.
