Temporary accommodation

Until the time that you find a house or until your house is ready for occupancy, you may need to find temporary housing. A number of companies provide their employees with furnished housing for a limited period upon arrival (or departure). However, if you cannot count yourself among the lucky ones, you may need to seek another alternative.

Use one of the numerous online hotel booking systems to get the best deal at one of the city's hotels. Several top hotels also offer self-catering apartments, including the Bel Air Hotel and the Crowne Plaza Den Haag Promenade. Another option is to book an apartment in an apartment hotel such as Hotel Plato or the Ambassade Arena Aparthotel.

If you know well ahead of time that you will need temporary accommodation, you may consider renting a furnished bungalow at the four-star Vakantiecentrum Kijkduinpark, which offers visitors all kinds of amenities. Click on the website of Kijkduinpark for more information.

Alternatively you could consider renting a fully-furnished apartment on a short-term basis. The Voorhoeve Foundation offers a big selection of newly-renovated apartments in historic houses available from one week to several months. Maff Apartment and Studio also has 10 fully-furnished apartments in The Hague's city centre.
