The Expat service of the IND offers an expedited service for highly skilled migrants who are registered with the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service under the highly skilled migrant scheme.
The Hague International Centre located in the City Hall is a joint initiative between the Municipality of The Hague, the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) and ACCESS. It is the first point of contact for (new) residents of The Hague and has been created especially for the expatriate who is working and living in the Hague. The desk offers a welcome package to new arrivals and forms a point of contact between the individual expat and the municipal administration. It provides information on the services of various municipal departments (parking permits, marriages, registration of birth, converting driving licenses, rubbish collection, etc). The Hague International Center also supplies basic information on health care and education.

The Expat service of the IND offers an expedited service for highly skilled migrants who are registered with the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service under the highly skilled migrant scheme. Highly-skilled migrants can make an appointment with the Expat service themselves or via their employers for faster registration in the municipal database and Dutch administration system (Burgerservicenummer). This accelerated service allows expat employees to start their jobs sooner.
ACCESS is a not-for-profit organisation supporting the Expat Community in the Netherlands. They offer free information and a range of services, including publications, courses, counseling referrals and community events for the international community. ACCESS is also located in The Hague International Center.
The International Community Platform (ICP) was founded in 2009 in the context of the international ambitions of The Hague region, whereby the top international employers realised that by joining forces they could achieve more in finding solutions to the challenges they have in common. The ICP mission is improving the work and living environment for the (international) employees and their families in The Hague and surrounding areas and thereby the working environment for the employers themselves.
